Description :
1932 Rookwood Pottery Glaze Effect Vase. It is part of a known pair of experimental Art Deco era studio art ceramics. A squat, bulbous round silhouette featuring a short, open rim.Glaze style: An experimental "glaze effect" technique consisting of a dripping lavender glaze layered over an almost metallicized brown and rust-colored base. Coated with a solid, soft purple or lavender color tone matching the upper rim drip XXXII: This Roman numeral confirms the production year is 1932 (Rookwood used a flame logo combined with Roman numerals to denote years after 1900). 6319 is the design shape number assigned by Rookwood for this specific squat, bulbous mold. F: This is the size indicator, meaning this is the smallest size version manufactured for this particular shape catalog. No damage noted. 3.25”x3”

At our sole discretion, an alternate pick-up time may be arranged. If this is possible, an appropriate fee may be charged. A 15% Buyer's Premium and Sales Tax are added to the winning bid amount when invoiced. Sales tax is waived for licensed re-sellers that provide a current Re-sellers Permit.
